"First time I started working in a bakery and got to handle cookie dough, I knew it was what I meant to be doing for the rest of my life," Says Reza, the owner. The creative outlet and the subtlety of precision that lies at the heart of the process have always been his unique source of inspiration.

 

His journey began working in various confectioneries in the early 80's. Soon he started his own business in a variety of locations starting off in 1982 in Sunnyvale and soon opening a couple of different stores in San Mateo, Milpitas, and Hawaii. After being praised and showcased a couple of times in some major Bay Area news outlets during in its existence in Silicon Valley, California Golden Cookies continued its journey to find its home in the heart of San Francisco financial district which is still where it carries on its mission create love and deliciousness.
